Why I gave up on...

...the prez and the other bushies...

is a real problem. I supported him because it looked like he might win the war. He didn't follow through. I was voting for a cowboy personna that looked (compared to the other choices) like John Wayne. To my eternal shame, I was taken in. To the Our Nations eternal shame, there was nobody else that even looked like they would undertake the job. Excuse me while I try to tone down the rant that is a'building.

Aha - that's better...

Get the whole damn government out of there and find a warrior to put in charge!!! I am sick of this namby-pamby-limp-wristed-crap. War is not nice. We do not need a surge. We need to get rid of the bloody "rules of of engagement" that only serve to get our kids killed and maimed. If the S.O.B. shoots at you, then kill him or her or it! I am an equal opportunity soldier. The object of war is to KILL THE ENEMY. The object of war is not to convince the enemy that you are his friend.

There... I feel better now.

They changed...

this infernal system on me. CA & Joe... I got your comments but I'll be buggered if I know where they went. I'll be back to ranting as soon as I get this "new system" figured out. The only thing that is constant about computers is... well never mind.

Suffice it to say that in my golden :) years I seem to br reverting to my oilfield ways. Frogette would not let me bring my 36" pipe wrench into the computer room. I am, however, fondling the 14" pipe wrench that I used to keep under the kitchen sink and snuck in here last night. Visions of how I could use it to fine tune this wretched machine are dancing like sugar plums in my head. I think that may have more to do with old age than with medicinal herbs.

As ever... I'm working on it!
