Liberals are such...

...wonderful creatures. Which is what makes this bit of satire from my friend John the Mad a Christmas gift beyond compare...

What nasty people you Americans are. Forcing people to die their fingers purple. Has Haliburton cornered the market on purple? It's all about ink isn't it? Tell the truth!

This bit of ribaldry is a comment on the "Purple Finger" photographs. I put it here because it embodies my Republican spirit of Christmas, and you might miss it by not reading comments.

Ho Ho Ho!!!

For a view of the...

...tempestuous teapot from outside the teapot...

A Christmas visit with John the Mad is in line!
Peace and all good,

And now, as promised....

...a few boggish family photgraphs. Management will let almost anybody into the parking lot at the Chapel. Well hey, I may drive an old (but neither classic nor antique) car. And it may be a bomb, but that doesn't make me a carbomber!

From left to right we find Kermit (a.k.a. the other
Fr. John), the Silly Goose (a.k.a. Dcn Jody) and Gabbi (a.k.a. Sr. Mary Theresa).

And, yes... Those fingers being held up are dipped in purple ink. It's our way of showing that we support our troops and the mission. And we definitely support a Free Iraq.

God bless our troopers on the ground, God bless the Free Iraqis and God bless the USA.

Peace be with you - Kermit

And back in the Chapel...

Gathering room we find (left to right) Amanda, Gabbi (a.k.a. Sr. Theresa) and Jasmine.

On the Chapel Steps...

...left to right Michelle, Amanda and The Silly Goose(a.k.a. Dcn. Jody).

In the Chapel Hall...

...We find (from left to right) Rodney, Fr. John and Dcn. Kevyn.

The quote of the year...

...was overheard on the Laura Ingraham radio show. She had a Marine sergeant from the 2nd Marine Logistics Group in Western Iraq on the phone. And he had to make the greatest statement of the year...

On missing Christmas with his wife and 5-year-old daughter:

"Tell every one that Santa is wearing desert cammies and delivering freedom to Iraq this Christmas."

Chin up guys, the nasayers and doubters are sometimes louder, but they are never stronger. I had to pull over to the side of the road and wipe the tears out of my eyes.

Kermit

The ignoble Nobel...

...is again a forum for (words fail me)...misinformed quasipolitical idiocy (??? I'm trying to make nice here)! A tip of the Froggy"s fedora to The Big Pharaoh (his URL is permanently embedded in the column to the right of your screen).

From the SF Chronicle

London -- The playwright Harold Pinter turned his Nobel Prize acceptance speech Wednesday into a furious howl of outrage against American foreign policy, saying that the United States had not only lied to justify waging war against Iraq but had also "supported and in many cases engendered every right-wing military dictatorship" in the last 50 years.

"The crimes of the United States have been systematic, constant, vicious, remorseless, but very few people have actually talked about them," Pinter said. "You have to hand it to America. It has exercised a quite clinical manipulation of power worldwide while masquerading as a force for universal good. It's a brilliant, even witty, highly successful act of hypnosis."

The crimes of the United States have been systematic, constant, vicious, remorseless, but very few people have actually talked about them," Pinter said.

Interesting words, especially since they come from a person who supports Slobodan Milosevic's freedom:

The problem with overly leftist Europeans is that they will oppose anything the US does. And I mean anything whether this thing is in Iraq or Yoguslavia. Besides, who cares about a bunch of European leftists rewarding each other?

Thank you big Pharaoh. I have to agree with one of the comments posted to the item on your blg that said (pretty much) that the dingbats have taken over choosing the "soft prizez". What will happen if they ever take over picking the prizes for Mathematics and Physics?

Beam me up to the mothership Scotty. There is no intelligent life here.

Well, except for the Bog and some other places on the Internet,

Kermit,

Who is giving the finger to Radical Islam.
